“Patience is a virtue.”
My good friend, Shawna, would tell you this is my favorite quote. She’s heard me say it a lot. She thinks it’s good advice. What she doesn’t realize is, every time I say it, I’m just reminding myself. I have very little patience. I’m into instant gratification.
I don’t have so many virtues that I can afford to ignore the “easy” ones. Like patience. I can be patient. Patience is a virtue.
That’s a good one for all of us to be reminded of now and again.
